Privacy policy
How Bethel Carpet Cleaning handles the personal information you give us when you ask for a quote or book a job.
What this privacy policy covers
This privacy policy applies to the bethelcarpet.com.au website, the quote form on it, and the personal information Bethel Carpet Cleaning holds about customers and enquiries.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb or address of the job, the details you give us about the work, and any photos you upload. When you become a customer we also hold the job details, invoices and, for insurance work, the claim reference and the assessor's contact details.
Why we collect it
To quote and carry out the work, to contact you about it, to invoice, and where a job is an insurance claim, to report to the insurer or builder on your behalf. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for marketing you have not asked for.
Who sees it
Our staff, and the providers that run our systems: the website form service that delivers your enquiry to us, our email and accounting software, and, where you have told us the job is a claim, your insurer or builder. Each is given only what it needs.
Photos
Photos you send us are used to quote and to document the job. Before and after photographs of work are only used on this site or elsewhere with your permission, and never in a way that identifies the address.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it for the job, and for as long as tax and record-keeping laws require.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. That data is aggregated and does not identify you. You can block analytics cookies in your browser without affecting the site.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or have it corrected or deleted, by emailing admin@bethelcarpet.com.au or ringing 07 4725 6256. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles.
